The Hayes Family

Hi All,

Eric and I just bought our first house!! It's 3 bedroom + den, 2 bath, 2 car garage and a covered patio in that back. You can see pictures by going to http://3rdverse.com, click on Client Albums and then click on Our House and enter "hayes" as the password. We have not officially moved in yet but we will be very soon. I am getting real excited about decorating. We've decided to make the den our photography showroom. This is my favorite part about having a new home. I love photography and I can't wait to have a whole room dedicated to it. Well that's all for now, it's Eric's turn to post an entry next time! Hey everyone! Happy new year! Eric and I had a wonderful time with family in Oregon for Christmas. Eric has been working on our photography website in between all the other things he does for some time now and it's finally done. Eric and I recently took a trip to Morro Bay, CA to celebrate our 2nd anniversary. Our anniversary is not until the 27th of this month but we had other things going on that week so we decided to do something a little early. We stayed at a little place called Back Bay Inn. It was cloudy the whole time we were there but it was a cute little place. We spent all day Friday in San Simeon, CA and visited Hearst Castle. I surprised Eric with a new camera so we both had a camera for the trip. We took a lot of pictures and I was fascinated by the Hearst Castle. It was incredible to see the detail of the construction and amazing to think that is was done almost 100 years ago. There was a lot of History in those buildings!

Our good friends Jonathan and Janelle just told us that they will be going on deputation soon. We are excited to see how the Lord will use them in Peru. They've talked of planting a church and starting an orphanage thus far. They are planning a survey trip soon and I'm sure the Lord will use this trip to work in their hearts and give them a love for the people there.

Soon Eric and I will be celebrating our 2nd anniversary! I am planning our weekend trip this time so if anyone has some good suggestions as to where we should go, let me know. :) We went to Dana Point last year.

Jacob Ian Thomas was born to Jacob and Sara Thomas just a couple weeks ago. Jacob and Sara are good friends of ours and we were excited to hear the news of their healthy baby boy (and a cute one at that). Despite many claims, not all babies are cute. They are all precious but Ian happens to be one of the cute and precious ones.
